Disability
I don't care about people
having disability. Also I don't look at them, that they are good or bad.
However after Mrs. Franky class, I want to say thanks Franky because she
mentioned to me something very important. which was disability people.
After this class I understood
the disable people have something special
of their disability. Franky talked about her family. Each one have his
or her own disability. they treated and deal
with their disability. Franky showed us about her family because I think
she doesn't feel any shame about that but in our culture it is shame or some
people are shay to about these things. Then Franky showed us some videos. They
were talking about different people with different types of disability. The
most video I liked was the old woman singer. When the people were laughing at her because she just dreamed to
be famous singer like one of a very famous singer. After they heart her voice,
they were shocked , they didn't believe that she has this voice. So I learned
from this video, don't judge any one from his picture or his face or body. Let
him prove what he believe that he is good in it then you can judge.
In conclusion, everyone has
disability but most of us don't know about it because we can't see it, however
some people have a shown disability and I hope everyone to live with his
disability because it's part from our life.

Culture and Personality in Anthropology
Read the section about Culture and Personality in Anthropology. Answer these questions about that section:-
1. Define “Anthropology” in your own words Its an indication that not all of the people that share one culture end up having the same personalities.
2. What do you understand by “socialization of children” Give an example How children are developed into a community and indicate the habit. For example; feeding, talking and toilet training.
3. Read this sentence again and give examples of childrearing in different societies and cultures: “socialization creates personality patterns. It helps shape people’s emotions, thoughts, behaviors, cultural values and norms to fit into and function as productive members in the surrounding human society. The study of culture and personality demonstrates that different socialization practices such as childrearing in different societies (cultures) result in different personality types.” The children grow up and their personality comes from what they were taught when they are younger.
4. Read this sentence again and say to what extent you agree: “all humans are the same when born, but childrearing in different societies causes deviations in behavior and personalities from each other.” I strongly agree
5. Reflect on the reading above. Can you see a link between your culture and your personality? Think about that in relation to your own culture first, and then think about personality and culture in a different society. Reflect. Give examples.
Each culture is different than the other so the personality is most likely to be taken from the culture, example if you grow up in a culture where they raise falcons you want be scared of them but if you bring a guy from different culture they might get scared because it is dangerous and they didn't use to raise them.
